Casa do Castelo de Andrade

This rural hotel is the place where you have always wanted to spend your holidays. An old house, completely restored and next to which 2 other buildings have been built, forming this hotel with an almost indescribable charm, located 7 km from the town of Pontedeume.

Since 2011 began its renovation and opened to the public, this hotel has become one of the places with the most attractive in the national scene and, in fact, it is the scene of numerous announcements, as well as video clips of artists with international reconcomiendo.

The hotel has a farm of 60,000 meters 2, with large gardens with grass with a special green, thanks to the climate of Galicia. Around here you will enjoy pleasant walks and enjoying the views of the estuary of River Heume. Why do not you take a towel and lie down to read a book surrounded by peace and blue skies?

Each of the rooms that the hotel has -in total 10- has a different touch and a careful decoration that maintains the rustic essence. They have managed to combine antique furniture with modern elements that satisfy the needs of the guests.

Of the 10 rooms, 2 are special -the Summer room and the Winter room- since they have a larger space, plus some surprises in the bathrooms.

For the tenants, the breakfast service is available, which is served in the dining room of the hotel -or on the terrace-.
There are also several rooms with cozy sofas and seating areas, with fireplace, and of course, large windows with spectacular views. Through them enters a natural light that invades the entire hotel.

There is also a library with a variety of books and novels, as well as information about the area. The desk is an old restored mahogany table and is accompanied by a floor lamp that makes this room one of the most charming places in the hotel.

The hotel has as its only neighbor the Castillo de Andrade, located at about 300 meters away.
As its name indicates, it belonged to the counts of Andrade, approximately in the year 1371, whose lord was known to be a hard man with whom there were great peasant revolts. At the moment the castle belongs to the House of Alba and in it are still visible elements carved in stone, like a bear and a wild boar, animals that symbolized the family.
