Hostal El Molino de Floren

The hostel is located at Santo Domingo de la Calzada, and consists of 10 rooms equipped y decorated differently each.

The rooms can be Family Suites, double or single. The hostel is built in an old mill in the city; all its rooms have names of the grains that were milled in antiquity.

• The family suites are the rooms Wheat, Millet, Corn and Rye; all have a maximum capacity of 4 people. The family suites have a double bed or 2 singles dressed and equipped al complete with pillows; and 2 extra single beds.

They are spacious and bright rooms decorated with modern materials and high quality. The room has a flat screen TV and the floor is parquet. The wooden beams that make it up can be seen on the ceiling.

• The double rooms are Oats, Quinoa, Barley and Sorghum. They can have a double bed or 2 single beds. All dressed and with their set of pillows. They are spaces with lights and where modern materials are present. They have a flat screen TV.

• The single rooms are the Amaranth and the Chia. All have a full-size double bed. It has a flat screen TV.

All bed mattresses are latex covered with Aloe Vera and treatment against germs, mites and bacteria of last generation. In this way we guarantee the maximum comfort and quality of sleep.

All rooms have a built-in wardrobe to match the bedside tables and the rest of the furniture. They also enjoy heating with individual thermostat so comfort is guaranteed at any time of the year. In all rooms of the hostel you can enjoy free WIFI connection.

Some of the rooms have a comfortable 2-seater sofa and a desk-type table. And if guests require it, we have cots.

Each of the rooms have a bathroom with shower, which has the necessary elements and cleaning products. We offer a towel set for each guest which we change daily.

The XX guest areas of the hostel are a large living room with sofas and armchairs in which to sit and chat with friends, family or other guests. In this space you can see old mills which are very well preserved. In the living room there is a collection of games, a television and a small library; the whole environment has heating.

We serve breakfasts and offer documentation about the activities to be carried out in the area and products made in the locality. On the outside of the house there is a terrace with garden furniture.
The access to the house is marked and asphalted.

The accommodation is located at Santo Domingo de la Calzada, a rijano municipality with a little more than 6000 inhabitants.

You can visit various monuments and buildings such as the cathedral in the middle of the city, the Plaza de España, the Santo and the Alameda. Around these squares are located bars and restaurants where you can taste the best of local cuisine such as potatoes a la riojana.

There is also a great variety of XXYY buildings and civil buildings such as the Trastámara House, City Hall, the House of the Brotherhood of Santo or Casa del Corregidor Its most popular party is celebrated from May 1 to May 15.

Thanks to the particular vegetation of the area, mushroom picking is very popular. Also the practice of hiking, mountain bike rides, climbing, horse riding or multi-adventure.

In the surroundings you can perform air activities such as balloon rides, skydiving or ultralight.
