In the cozy town of Castrillo de los Polvazares it remains practically as it was originally years ago. Streets are perfectly preserved with the cobbled floor and stone houses, in fact, the entire town itself was declared historical-artistic set (in 1980).

It also has a history of its name, because it is said that Castrillo comes through the castros of San Martino and that of Teso de la Mesa.
