This convent is located on the outskirts of the town of Fuentes de León, which is only 6 kilometers from the province of Huelva but belongs to Badajoz and specifically to the District of Tentudía. It is the largest town among those around and is located in a loft, which gives you spectacular views of the mountains that surrounds it. His name is due to the numerous sources that you can find in any corner of the village as the Altozano or the Cañaveral. It has numerous worthy buildings to admire, such as:
- The Horn Castle. Located on the outskirts of the town, this building dates from the 10th century. It is currently in ruins although there are renovation projects.
