Hotel El Tío Kiko

In Agua Amarga, a fishing village on the east coast of Almeria, we found this idyllic hotel, a white that is camouflaged among the houses of the town, and with splendid views of the Mediterranean Sea, from which they separate only 150 meters.

The hotel follows in its architecture and decoration a rustic and traditional line, which relies on wood and white color, while delegating all modern functionalities in furniture and appliances, which confer the capacity to satisfy all the demands of the guest and continue faithful to the style of the fishing village.

The other room type double has, in addition to the double bed, of a large terrace with sea views, ideal to enjoy during a snack or a moment of rest.

The special room The Uncle Kiko is the pride of the hotel, with a double king size bed with canopy and a private terrace with direct and privileged views to the sea. It also has a hot tub for 2 people and a large living area, with armchairs, just in front of the terrace, to enjoy the views also from the inside.

The hotel includes the free breakfast in the accommodation, for all its guests, served in the dining room, in common use; Breakfast, with a variety of options, includes fresh fruit from the region. In addition to the dining room, there is a reading room and meeting rooms and celebrations. In all the common facilities of the premises you can enjoy free wifi, which the tenants can access. At reception you can request information about the area, ask about activities that are taking place and book massages.

In the garden areas that surround the rooms, guests can comfortably stroll and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and the magnificent views. If you prefer, you can also put on your swimsuit and dive into the hotel's pool.

Agua Amarga is a small fishing village, whose main attraction are the beautiful beaches, and the large number of water sports that are practiced in it, both circumstances that have earned it become a town frequented by tourists.

Just 10 kilometers away is the village of Carboneras, another fishing village with a long tradition, where you can find the Playa de los Muertos ; near the town are the lighthouse and the tower of Mesa Roldán, a volcanic dome, located to the south, between Carboneras and Agua Amarga.

Níjar, which is only 30 kilometers away, is, as well as a place of beautiful architecture and interesting gastronomic tradition, one of the most extensive districts in the country, in whose municipal district there are many other towns with great charm, such as Pozo de Los Frailes, Los Escullos and San José.

All these mentioned locations are within the framework of the Natural Park of Cabo de Gata-Níjar, of great extension and varied faunística and vegetal population, that stands out for its abrupt cliffs and numerous archaeological sites and caves, around the towns.
