Apartamento La Xalda

Charming holiday apartment with capacity to accommodate 4 people visitors in the inland Asturian town of Posada de Llanes, in northern Spain.

Guests of this accommodation will have the following facilities for their use and enjoyment:

• A cozy living room in which a section for rest and entertainment has been set up with a comfortable sofa that is located in front of the television that rests on a low unit on the other side of the room.

• 2 double bedrooms, both in capacity and size, which have a double bed and a pair of single beds respectively. These exterior projection rooms have windows and large built-in wardrobes.

• Sharing the same room as the living room is the kitchen, closest to the huge windows that face the outside and through which abundant natural lighting penetrates. The kitchen cabinet integrates under its countertop a series of storage spaces within which the elements belonging to a large selection of household items are stored in an orderly fashion, as well as a complete appliance. Next to this, a dining room set has been arranged with a seat for 4 people.

• The bathroom that the inhabitants of the house will have a complete set of toilets, as well as a shower cabin.

This residential complex in which accommodation is included has among its common areas a recreational area for bathing with 2 pools that can be used in the summer season and a playground.

The apartment has attached the right to use a parking space for compact vehicles in the garage belonging to the neighborhood community.

We are in an inland town, which in Asturias does not usually mean any problem to reach the coast, since the closest one in a straight line is only 3 kilometers away, which can take us around 9 minutes by car. car or 40 walking.

But taking advantage of the fact that we are in a corner of the country with a strange natural richness in which the relief of a relatively recent orogeny fights with the karstic effects of sea erosion, we will be able to visit 2 special enclaves that we will not find anywhere else..

To the east, in the surroundings of Buelna, one of the last towns in the autonomous community before crossing into Cantabria, is where we would find the curious Cobijero beach, one of those frequent cases in Asturias in which beaches exist or do not exist according to the tides. Around it we will find a large number of spectacular karstic formations produced both by the direct action of the waves and by the environmental humidity that carries saline residues. So here we will come across the beautiful Molino de las Mareas, a whimsical window onto the waters of the Cantabrian Sea that catches us on the way to the steep Buelna Cliffs. On this same coastline we also find the Bufones de Cobijero, some curious cavities that violently project sea water several meters into the air with each wave blow.

In the opposite direction, on the outskirts of the municipality of Naves, we find a less spectacular, but quite enigmatic case, in which there is a beach without access to the sea, which has been defined as the smallest in the world on some occasion. This is the Gulpiyuri sandbank, a beach surrounded by cliffs under whose rock walls the sea water seeps in and which disappears completely at high tide.
