A little more than 15 kilometers from our point of origin, in the town of Posada de Llanes, is where we can find the famous Bufones de Pría, located on the outskirts of the neighboring town of Llames de Pría and at the mouth of the Aguadamía River, on its right bank facing the sea. This enclave offers a peculiar spectacle of explosions of sea water that occur with each wave attack against the coast, in which the water of the Cantabrian Sea filters through the cavities that it has been drilling over time in the cliffs to end up projecting several dozen meters in the air. Not far from there we would also find the Bufón del Pozu Las Grallas, lesser depth, but preceded by the spectacular Grallas Formation, which is what would ultimately result from the action of erosion on the rock.
