We are on the outskirts of Santillana del Mar, in Cantabria, in a rural house whose independent apartments offer a charming place to enjoy a relaxed stay, away from the hustle and bustle of the usual urban and tourist centers. It is located in a private estate 800m from the historic center, surrounded by countryside and with impressive views of the valleys and mountains.

The house has 4 types of apartment, differentiated by the number of occupants and the decoration and color used in each of them, which gives them an individual and personal character. The total number of guests you can accommodate is 20.

First of all we have a studio apartment that can accommodate 2 people, with a double bed and a sofa. It also has a small kitchen area, bathroom with shower and a porch. The second type of apartment with terrace has capacity for 2 to 4 people with the possibility of an extra bed for a fifth occupant at an additional cost. It has a double bedroom with a 1.80x2 m bed, living room, kitchen, dining room with a double bed of 1.35x1.90 and a sofa and flat-screen TV. The kitchen area is fully equipped with all kinds of household appliances and a small set of kitchenware . The bathroom has a shower cabin , hair dryer, towels and toilet paper.
The following type of apartment , can accommodate between 2 and 4 people, with a 1.50 x 2 m bed. or 1.80 x 2 m in the bedroom. In addition, in the living room you can find a sofa bed for 2 people, which completes the space. It is equipped with a full kitchen area and a bathroom. Some have a balcony and another is on the ground floor.

The fourth class of apartment has 2 bedrooms for 4/6 occupants: one of them with a bed of 1.40 x 2 m, and the other with a bed of 1.80 x 2 m. ; In the living room you will also find a 1.20 cm sofa bed for 2 children. Fully equipped kitchen area and bathroom with shower In total, the apartment can accommodate up to 6 people (maximum 4 adults and 2 children)

All apartments enjoy a series of own facilities within their limits. In them there is heating, and the bedding for both the beds and the sofa is included.

They have a dining room, in which the television acts as the center, and Wi-Fi internet access. Joining the same room as the living room is the kitchen, fully equipped, with modern installations and all the necessary kitchenware and utensils. A washing machine and an iron for clothes are included, essential for longer stays. Some of them also have a dishwasher.

There is a full bathroom for each apartment, with shower and towels, as well as incorporating a hair dryer, toilet paper, hand soap and gel.

The rural house has other common spaces on its farm for the enjoyment of those staying in all the apartments. The first of all is the private parking area, for the use of customers. There is also a large green area where a barbecue has been set up, with chairs and tables nearby for al fresco dining or gathering to enjoy the air and views. Right next door there is a children's play area, with a slide, a swing and a trampoline, which completes the offer of outdoor activities with something specific for the little ones.

Its location, just 800 meters from Santillana del Mar, gives you the opportunity to visit this charming town and walk through its ancient streets, as well as admire its best-known architectural works, such as the Collegiate Church of Santa Juliana, and its museums, containing famous art collections, with a reproduction of the Cuevas de Altamira faithful to the original.

The original Cuevas de Altamira and its museum are also very close, a kilometer and a half away, and the guest will be able to visit one of the greatest exponents of Palaeolithic cave art.

Being in the center of the cities on the coast, it is a perfect location to get around and take the opportunity to visit Comillas, with its great architectural tradition, San Vicente de la Barquera, with its seafood cuisine and the tranquility of a fishing village; Suances and Santander, the capital. Sus more than 60 beaches are perfectly within the reach of visitors.

If you prefer tourism in the middle of nature, you should not miss the Cueva del Soplao, with speleothems in amazing shapes and directions, the largest sequoia forest in Europe in Cabezón de la Sal and the Nature Park of Cabárceno, a zoo where animals live in semi-freedom, and where the guest will enjoy contemplating and learning more about the native fauna and flora.
