Welcome to Panticosa, an Huesca village of 790 inhabitants located in the north of the province, near the Panticosa-Los Lagos ski resort. Its historic center is mainly medieval and was built in the 13th century. It is composed of 4 neighborhoods and one of them is the bridge of Caldarés, built in 1556. The Spa, built from Roman baths in the nineteenth century, is of special interest to the people.

Near this town is the Natural Monument of the Pyrenean Glaciers, consisting of several peaks and massifs in which there are large volumes of ice. The monument also has several ibones and moraines formed by the erosion of ice in the rock. These glaciers are currently in the process of extinction.

The glaciers and the town are both in the Tena Valley. With 400 square kilometers of surface, this valley is considered one of the most extensive in the Pyrenees. Its flora is abundant and is composed of pine forests and meadows, dotted with lakes.
