It may be that in the first instance we have come to this destination attracted by a more or less mild climate throughout the year, neither very hot in summer, nor very cold in winter, with which we will be able to enjoy the Mediterranean Coast in which perhaps we can immerse ourselves especially those who have a lot of love for the sea.

Thus we can visit the Roman Villa of la Llosa, which dates back to the 1st century of our era, giving us an idea of ​​the typical patrician property dedicated to agricultural work and the manufacture of ceramics. In this enclosure, which can only be visited on weekends, we will appreciate the arrangement of the different architectural elements and their relationship with the surrounding environment.

Originating from the end of the Middle Ages, we can find several defensive buildings on the coastline that were created in response to the hostilities generated by the growing piracy of the Mediterranean Sea, which was especially fattened by this area with a flourishing economy. The Torre del Puerto, which now houses the headquarters of the Cambrils History Museum, is an example of these monuments that we will discover along the entire Catalan coastline.
