Burdeos - La Casa Grande de Albarracín

We are in Albarracín, a small city of Teruel of 1093 inhabitants that is located in the Sierra de Albarracín. Due to its historical center, which is of medieval design with Arab influences, this city has been proposed by Unesco for its consideration as a World Heritage Site. In addition, it is declared a National Monument and in 1996 it was awarded the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts.

Within the old town, surrounded by a medieval wall, is the Castle, which can be visited thanks to a restoration of the year 2009. In the castle consists mainly of a residential part of the eleventh century that was occupied by the rulers of this town , Arabs and Christians, until the eighteenth century.
