Castro del Duerna III

Our complex Castro del Duerna is located in the village Miñambres de la Valduerna, in León, and consists of 3 apartments with a very special style. You can rent them individually or jointly if you come from a very large group. The outdoor plot is common for all and consists of a nice garden y a patio with a porch where you have a picnic and a barbecue.

The interior of the house is completely private in each of them. This in particular is the largest of all, divided into 2 floors, is composed of the following rooms:

• The kitchen has a lot of light thanks to the windows there are. The appliances that form it will greatly facilitate the task at the time of making food. Accounts with utensils, crockery and cutlery. Closing this part of the house there is a rectangular wooden table with capacity so that you can all eat together.

• The living room is very cozy and much of the blame has the fireplace that creates the perfect family atmosphere for a rural house. It is located in a corner of the room next to the TV and in front of several sofas where you can relax, read a good book or chat with your friends.

• The rooms are very elegant and decorated with a colored dot. There is a total of 3. The beds are of marriage and have sets of sheets and blankets. The headboards are metallic and the rest of wood furniture, including large closets that will help you organize all the clothes you bring on this trip. Having 2 floors, the rooms have balconies overlooking the courtyard and through them a lot of light enters.

• The bathroom combines blue, white and wood. The shower with screen, the sink and the toilet, are in perfect condition and we have also enabled towels for all tenants.

To access the house you can do it in your car since we have private parking. In addition the ground is asphalted and you have many amenities. You access the house through the patio or through the main door.

Bathed by the river Duerna is the village Miñambres de la Valduerna. An element that brings great beauty to the entire landscape of this town of León, more specifically in the region of La Bañeza. In this region we have several important monuments such as the church of San Salvador, Mozarabic style, or the church of Santa Maria, Gothic of the sixteenth century. We arrived at this beautiful corner in less than 5 minutes by car.

We recommend a visit to Leon capital. Stroll through the old town and discover its streets and of course its Plaza Mayor. Of Baroque style, it follows the same aesthetic line as the rest of the squares in Spain. Among the most emblematic monuments we have the old Convent of San Marcos that was built by the Catholic Monarchs. But undoubtedly what stands out above all is its main cathedral call Santa Maria de Regla. It began to build in the thirteenth century and is Gothic style.

Lastly visit Astorga. It is a city that has a Roman route where you can discover true treasures that have survived the passage of time. A clear example are the remains of the wall that surround it.
