Espectacular apartamento en Calella

Cozy apartment for 6 guests, with terrace and sea views in the beautiful town of Calella De Palafrugell, in the heart of the Costa Brava, where the Mediterranean Sea meets the province of Girona in the most beautiful way.

In this apartment visitors can use and enjoy the following:

• 3 bedrooms, of which 2 of them are furnished with a pair of single beds, one of them in trundle format, that is, removable from its lower part. The remaining room has a double bed.

• The living room configures a rest area in which we find a pair of comfortable sofas with several seats each, from which to watch the television that rests on a piece of furniture next to the wall on the other side of the room. In the opposite corner of the room there is a brick fireplace. On the door that gives access to the outside there is a device of air conditioning to cool the cabin in the hot months.

• The a kitchen has all the electrical appliances that we could need to prepare meals for the duration of our stay.

• There is a full bathroom with a walk-in shower of a certain size plus an alternative toilet.

Outside of the house itself we have a wonderful terrace with views of a neighborhood full of vegetation and the sea as the horizon.

This space is equipped with garden furniture where we can perfectly enjoy relaxed meals outdoors.

The block in which the house is located has covered parking and a small park with a garden area as well as benches.

Barely 3 kilometers from the urban center we find the exceptional Jardines de Cap Roig, a botanical garden of 17 hectares that surrounds in an ornamental exhibition the surroundings of a medieval court castle, but built at the beginning of the 20th century by a Russian couple who came to take refuge from the revolutions in their country in this beautiful corner of Catalonia.

In this enclave we find a city collection of up to 1000 specimens arranged in flowerbeds and pergolas, which together with the reddish tones of the rock and the blues of the shallow sea near the coast, make up a most colorful postcard. This privileged environment receives international song artists during the summer at the festival that is held in the open-air auditorium that is set up in it.

If we have a car, a very good cultural leisure option is to visit the neighboring town of Begur, a population of medieval urbanism in which the most modern buildings have managed to integrate the ancient ruins, as happens with 6 of the defensive towers that were built to repel the constant pirate attacks with which the town was besieged. At the top of the promontory that is located in the center of its historic center we find the Begur Castle, a fortress that was destroyed on multiple occasions of which only its tower and battlements remain from which we can have one of the panoramic views most incredible of the Costa Brava.
