La Casa Vieja

Under the Sierra de Guadarrama, in the municipality of Tabanera del Monte, sits this rural house raised in the twentieth century.

It was restored in 2010, although still retains the rustic and traditional style of the Castilian houses, characterized by the use of typical materials, such as stone and hardwood ceilings and furniture. This has not prevented him from hoarding all the comforts of current homes.

Built on 2 floors, on the first floor there is a full bathroom with shower, equipped with towels and toiletries. The living room-kitchen. This last ceramic hob and American style, is equipped with all necessary appliances and household items. Share fireplace with the living room, which differentiates the living area, with sofas and television, and the dining area, with a sturdy wooden table and wicker chairs placed under the stairs that go up to the second floor.

Visitors will be provided with the necessary firewood to make use of the fireplace during the stay.

On the second floor there are 2 attic bedrooms. One with 2 single beds and the other with a double bed. Both rooms have built-in wardrobe with sliding doors. Both have a night tables of particular form.

The house maintains a homogeneous temperature throughout the day thanks to the blue heat system of its radiators, independent in each room.

One characteristic of the elojamiento is its interior balcony on the living room, and that is in the corridor through which you access the rooms.

Due to its location, La Casa Vieja is only 3 kilometers away from Segovia. In this city you can visit its well-known Aqueduct as well as other Mudejar architectural constructions. It is a metropolis that houses different parks and gardens.

One kilometer further away is La Granja de San Ildefonso, which is curious for its rose gardens that adorn the palaces or the glass factory.
