As the closest beach to the accommodation we would have l to Somorto beach, just 8 minutes walking. But if we wanted to enjoy not only the bath, but also have the healthy intention of enjoying the environment that surrounds the area with all our senses, we could take a slightly longer walk, just 20 minutes, to the beautiful Da beach. Fontela, a sandy area surrounded by small cliffs, facing the most open part of the Ría de Muros.
In the middle of July, the Carrera de Carrillanas is held, a competition of wooden cars without a engine, famous in the region for the fun not only of the time trial, but also for the daring of its designs, that we can appreciate more calmly in the Casa das Carrilanas, a museum created for this purpose.
A beautiful promenade has been created around the mouth of the River Tambre, which changes its style between sandbanks, walkways and winding paths in landscaped areas that imitate the forest, where we can enjoy a small and relaxed route on foot.
