The willingness of a group of professors and their desire for innovation in teaching methodologies led to the restoration of Abioncillo, a small semi-abandoned town in Soria, to rebuild it in a village-school, with rural shelter, where to bring endless educational activities and ecological awareness in a rural setting surrounded by natural and rustic places full of history.

The rustic style of the house does not renounce the wood in beams, floors and furniture, except in the bunk beds, with metal frame. The total number of guests that can house the house, among all the rooms, is 40.

One of the rooms has own bathroom, being said room of 2 seats. The remaining rooms are one of 14, one of 10, one of 8 and one of 6 seats. The rooms, spacious and bright, have small furniture to store personal belongings.

All the sleeping quarters correspond to single beds in metal bunk beds, and a shared bathroom for men and women is available. Guests must bring their own sleeping bags, sheets and / or blankets; The hostel can provide sheets, for which an extra fee will be charged.

The rooms can be shared with other people, although the house offers the possibility of renting a room without sharing. All rooms have heating, as well as hot water in the bathrooms.

The common area of ​​the dining room is spacious and bright, with space to accommodate as many people as there is room in the houses. The scheme is for accommodation with breakfast, which includes milk, cookies and jam. However, the restaurant service, with typical Soria food, for lunch and / or dinner, is only available for groups of more than 25 people ; however, if there are a sufficient number of individual guests, they can come together to receive the service. In case there is no restaurant service, the nearest restaurants are in Calatañazor and Venta Nueva.

There is also a laundry service available for guests, and although there is no television, free Wi-Fi is available, books and a assorted collection of table games. The environment lends itself to hiking trails on the flat terrain, which facilitates its journey; It is worth noting the route del Cid Banishment from San Esteban de Gormaz and following the course of the Duero to Gormaz, from whose elevation you can see part of the province.

Calatañazor, declared a Historic-Artistic Site, is just 4.5 kilometers from the town, and is a place of rich history to visit as soon as you have the opportunity; between its architecture Romanesque religious constructions, a top castle and the walls that surround the town.
