Welcome to Segorbe, a city belonging to the province of Castellón that has a medieval old town that holds the title of Cultural Interest. In this city the Cathedral Basilica stands out, which was built in the 13th century taking advantage of the remains of an Arab mosque. The predominant style is Gothic, although it has some Romanesque details. The temple is completed by a Gothic cloister that has the shape of a trapeze, one of the few with this form, which has to be attached to the wall.

The city retains much of the defensive wall, prior to the thirteenth century, which has in its last section a aqueduct of the fourteenth century that supplies the city with water. In the wall still several of the arches that allowed the entrance to the city are conserved, as they are the one of the Veronica, that has a means arc point, and the one of the jail, that has adjacent a tower where the prison was.

At the top of Mount Sopeña is the Castle of the Star, a medieval fortress that had its heyday in the fifteenth century. It was no longer used in the eighteenth century because of the construction of the ducal palace. In the nineteenth century it was built again because of the Carlist wars, although now only ruins remain that have been converted into a public park.
