A Casa da Tulla

The rural accommodation is located in the Galician municipality of Gomesende. It was built in the year 1637. But remodeled and refurbished as a rural house in 2008 by a study of architects we asked to respect its essence, preserved especially in stone walls and wooden structures.

For many years it was the place where the gifts were collected for those who were in the Monastery of San Salvador. A channel can be seen from then on the stone that is on the second floor and through which the grain was taken there. As well as multiple utensils that today are part of the decoration.

It is structured in 2 floors and has capacity to accommodate about 8 people.

Account for it with 4 bedrooms. Which we have personalized with an identifying color and assigning them a proper name: Figueira, Moreira, Nogueira and Castiñeiro. 2 have double beds with terrace or balcony and other 2, single beds. All of them with private bathroom.

Also, on the ground floor you can enjoy a kitchen that we have equipped with the latest y appliances and a large room where you can enjoy the warmth of the fireplace or family meals.

From it you can access a outdoor space that has almost 2,000 square meters and where you can find:

• A pool with shower and surrounded by grass in the back.
• A porch with barbecue and an annex room for meals.
• A garden of vegetables and different plantations.
• A second porch at the entrance with sun loungers.
• A garage with space for two vehicles.

The municipality of Gomesende has been in Orense and has a little more than 1,000 inhabitants. Of him they emphasize ecclesiastical buildings, such as:

• The sanctuary of Nosa Señora de Val, located at the top of a mountain from which the whole territory is sighted and which was built on an old hermitage from which ruins can still be seen.
