This rural farmhouse is a building from the XVI century that has been renovated to become a cozy little house where you can spend pleasant stays. Also, if you decide to spend a few days here, you will be doing it in a building that was declared a Historical Heritage.

This is due to the fact that inside there is what is known as a “ cider press ” or also as “ tolare ”, and that it is an area where this typical product of Asturias was formerly manufactured. On the other hand, in Guipúzcoa, these places also served as a cider house, as a restaurant.
Here you can stay in some of the 3 rooms that they have available, of which 2 are in the main building, while the missing one is in an annex building.
This is a old barn that has been refurbished and in which guests will find all the comforts.
Ugarte can be rented either for rooms or in full, and it adapts to your needs.

Do you want to travel as a couple? Rent a room Do you prefer to do it as a family? It is also possible, as there are 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom. But, for large groups, we make the whole house available.

In addition, it has a series of common areas such as lounge. Here you will find a rest area in which a complete library with tourist information is available, as well as a television with DVD.

In the same room there is a table of dining room, where you can taste well the breakfasts that are served in the farmhouse -with products cooked in the house such as their delicious cake- or, the dishes that you make if you rent the house with integrity. This is because initially you will only have access to the kitchen either by paying a supplement, or by renting it entirely.
But no matter how you come to spend a few days in this place, you can enjoy its outdoor . Starting with the pleasant terrace and access to the spacious garden, in which there is an area of ​​ swings for the little ones to have a great time.
Both children and youngsters can continue learning with the animals, since in the farm there is an area where you can find sheep, chickens, cows, etc. If you ask, they may let you feed them, and they will teach you to collect eggs from chickens, fruit from trees, and many more activities.

In Asteasu, in addition to carrying out all the agrotourism activities, you will be able to get to know the environment by hiking in the Pagoeta Natural Park, or by visiting the Leizarán Biotope, or why not, by visiting the Enio massif.

In Tolosa, near the house, every Saturday a market is organized where you will find many typical products of the area. These are made in an artisanal way and have an indescribably good taste.
Continuing with the gastronomy, but this time visiting, you can stop by the Confectionery Museum, where in addition to knowing how this product is made, you will also do it from the cecería.
Also, if you want a bit of the city, you have San Sebastián, just a quarter of an hour away by car.
