Altea is a municipality that forms part of the province of Alicante where you can enjoy some wonderful scenery in the region the Marina Baja, accompanied by a city centre filled with tones of things to see.

Very close to the church you can find El Fornet which is an old town that, thanks to being located in the most elevated part of the region, has a series of viewpoints that will leave you with your mouth wide open.
There are two main towers: the Tower of Galera (Torre de Galera) which is a named national cultural interest and the Tower of Bellaguarda (Torre de Bellaguarda) that served as a watchtower in the past and is named after the town it’s in and is the oldest in the area.
You also can’t miss out on the orthodox church, which was the first ever one in Spain, the different chapels that decorate its streets and the city council building right in the centre.
