We can locate this rural apartment in a small municipality Girona, found in a particular area surrounded by the mountains of the Catalan Pyrenees. It is an old farmhouse typical of the community, which stands out for its walls made of exposed stone and its details and ceilings made of wood. It has been remodeled to comfortably accommodate up to 6 people.

We can find, in the first instance, an open space in which the living room and the dining room converge. In this room we find a warm and cozy living room that has sofas, armchairs, a side table and a wooden cabinet with a television and DVD. We also find a space dedicated to the dining room, where there is a wooden table with capacity for 6 guests. All this is presided over by a wrought iron fireplace that provides heat during winter days.

The house has a fully equipped kitchen with wooden furniture, which stores all the dishes and kitchenware necessary for guests, and with new appliances, such as a dishwasher, oven, washing machine, microwave or refrigerator.

The accommodation has 3 double rooms. One of them has a double bed and the others have 2 single beds. One of these is in the attic and has low wooden ceilings. All bedrooms consist of their corresponding bedding, rustic furniture, stone walls that give it a very cozy touch and windows with views of the surroundings. If required, there is the possibility of adding a cot for babies.

It has a complete bathroom in which we find a toilet, sink with mirror, shower with screen and sets of towels for all users.

The entire house has central heating with radiators in each of its rooms and WiFi connection free. The entry of pets is not accepted.

Outside, guests can enjoy a spacious garden with lawn and a swimming pool with sun loungers and parasols. There is also a playground for children with a slide and swings, an area suitable for users to play football, basketball or volleyball. In addition, there is barbecue to enjoy outdoor meals.

In the same space of the house, we find a farm with different animals, such as cows and horses, where you can observe the agricultural and branch activity so typical of the area.

The accommodation is located in Sant Joan de les Abadesses, a town where the ancient monastery from the 9th century stands out. It is a unique place, where you can see magnificent views of the natural landscapes that surround the territory. It is worth highlighting the different mountain ranges in the place, such as that of Cavallera.

Something to highlight about the environment is the volcanic area of ​​the Garrotxa, an ancient volcanic territory that has different craters. It is a special place with panoramic views of high scenic interest.

Some nearby municipalities worth highlighting are, for example, Campodron or Olot, small quiet towns in the area that have magnificent views.

If we approach Girona, we can visit the beaches of its coast and also its Cathedral, among other monuments. It is one of the most beautiful cities in Catalonia.
