Alquería de Hurdes. Casa 2

Our accommodation is located on the outskirts of the small town of Horcajo, belonging to the province of Cáceres. From easy access by car and with parking in the area, the house can accommodate a total of 7 people.

The house maintains its original structure of stone and wood but incorporates a series of new elements that allow guests maximum comfort.

First we find the kitchen, an elongated space and equipped with all kinds of electrod or, ranging from the large capacity refrigerator to the coffeemaker or the microwave with grill option. When dispensing with partitions this open space communicates with the dining room, which has a wooden table for several diners and the living room.

Presided over by the chimney, resulta a warm and cozy place in which to enjoy on cold winter days. Its amplitude allowed us to equip it with comfortable sofas of which one becomes sofa-bed of 2 places.

It houses 2 double rooms, both with 2 single beds and with the possibility of adding a extra bed. Its wooden ceilings and the different tonalities of the walls that combine perfectly with the bedding are characteristic.

The outdoor area is reserved for the patio. An open-air cobblestone space where you can sunbathe and enjoy an evening in the open air. All this is located next to a wood oven in which to prepare delicious roasts with views of the Valley in the background.

Its location, on the outskirts of the town, provides a calmer climate and greater ease to access the places of interest in the area. In addition to being in the highest part, the views of River Valley Horcajo are spectacular.

The District of Las Hurdes has many places to visit if you decide to go to the Alquería. Different natural pools are distributed by Horcajo and the region. They have recreational areas and different services that will make it possible to spend an entertaining day.

Water is the protagonist of the landscape. From the waterfalls of El Chorrito de Ovejuela or Meander of Melero you will contemplate some of the most beautiful places in the area without forgetting the route of the Depopulated El Moral.
