Burube Etxea

Located in the small and peaceful village of Muniáin, at the foot of the mountain range of Andía, this rural house is an ideal place to relax in the countryside with family or friends, forgetting the worries of everyday life.

Built in stone, it has a maximum capacity of 10 people and is divided into the following stays:

• 4 double bedrooms, 2 of them with bed marriage and the other 2 with 2 beds individual. In addition, the house admits up to 2 extra beds.

• 2 bathrooms complete, both with bathtub.

• A room ample with sofas and benches where you can relax, talk or read a book sheltered from the fireplace.

• A kitchen-dining room completely equipped with all the appliances necessary to make the stay of the guest as comfortable as possible.

• A game room to be able to enjoy with friends in the billiards, playing at foosball o competing at darts.

• A terrace located on the second floor with furniture to enjoy succulent breakfasts outdoors contemplating the wonderful views of the mountains.

In addition, the house has the following services:

• Barbecue to be able to organize barbecues on the terrace.

• Allows pets so that guests' pets should not stay at home.

• Closeness to the most important services.

Muniáin is located in the municipality of Guesalaz, which has 456 inhabitants. It is bounded on the north by the sierra de Andía, a gently undulating plateau populated by beech forests that change color according to the season. Through this mountain range numerous routes can be made that show the visitor the best views. One of these, of medium difficulty, is the Treku climb, a 21-kilometer route that starts from Unanu and lasts about 8 hours.

The Sierra de Andía forms, together with the Sierra de Urbasa, the Protected Natural Park Urbasa-Andía, which covers some 21,408 hectares. This park is mainly populated by forests of beech and green pastures, which hide in its interior places like the nacedero del Urederra, a cascade of crystalline waters that forms a beautiful spectacle.

Close to these mountain ranges is the Robledal de Orgi, a forest of 77 hectares that is currently undergoing a process of natural regeneration due to the large exploitation to which it has been subjected in recent times. Part of it is open to the public, but the best way to see it is by following the path that surrounds it and that crosses several of the local towns.
