Ca La Mònica

Our rural house is located in the old part of the Tarragona town of Torre de Fontaubella, in Priorat. The accommodation dates from the eighteenth century, and has terrace and winery.

It has been restored, in such a way that it is very new inside, still retaining certain elements of the past, such as the brick facade. It has 3 floors and a cellar or cellar, and views to the Mola de Colldejou and the town.

In the ground floor, we have the living room, which is divided into 2 areas, and which has television, with a table with chairs, and with a display of wines and typical products. An insurmountable glass will show you the cellar of the house from this estancia.

The kitchen is located on the next floor and is open to the dining room. There we will find another TV and a player DVD, as well as an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator, a XX, a washing machine and dryer, in addition to other small appliances. There is also a bathroom and a changing table for children on this floor.

The rooms are located on the second and third floors. The first of them has 2 bedrooms with bathroom with zone whirlpool and hair dryer. The furniture is, curiously, very old, like the armchairs that date back to the 19th century.

On the third floor, at attic, there is the third bedroom , that has a dressing room, and there is a library, a living room, a bathroom with a whirlpool bath for more than one person and a terrace with garden furniture.

The Torre de Fontaubella is located embracing the Sierra de La Argentera, thus being very close to the stream of Marcà. You can walk through the gully of Las Castellanas, enabled for the use of the villagers; see the tower or visit the neoclassical church.

The region of The Priorat stands for the Charter of Escaladei. You can also pay a visit to Siurana, a villa where you can see an Arab fortification. Falset is another possibility, with its walled Romanesque fortification.
