Cabaña Cabuerniaventura

Located in Lamiña, in Ruente, a privileged place within Cantabria, stands the theme park where we find this rural house, equipped and prepared for an exciting stay during which to practice active tourism and in the middle of nature. Located in the Valle de Cabuérniga, close to numerous natural parks and surrounded by landscapes of great value for their flora and fauna, it is a magnificent option to move from the accommodation to all points of interest in Cantabria.

The house is a light wooden cabin, recently built, very spacious and with good lighting. It is divided into 4 rooms, and has more than enough space for a maximum of 7 people.

Of the rooms in the house, 2 are bedrooms, each with 2 single beds. These are the default beds included in the accommodation, but you can request up to 3 extra beds to reach the maximum occupancy allowed; there is a basic price for the whole house, which increases for each extra bed. Regardless of the final number of beds used, guests are provided with bedding for all of them.

Between the two bedrooms is the complete bathroom, with a shower tray, and which also has a window that illuminates it and allows it to be well ventilated. Towels and toiletries are not included, so the guest must bring them with them; however.

In front of the three mentioned rooms is the living room-kitchen, a large meeting and meal preparation space. The furniture is modest, typical of a hostel, and is based on tables and chairs, apart from a sofa. The kitchen is discreet, but it has the essentials to store and prepare homemade meals without depending on external services. A shortage of furniture or entertainment will hardly be noticeable, as the possibilities offered by the outdoors will leave you no time to stay indoors.

If all this is not enough for the guests, they can still make use of the park facilities, since the entrance to the park includes the use of the dining rooms and some activities, as well as the parking area available. At the hostel they serve breakfasts, lunches and dinners in the most traditional line of local homemade food.

Outside there is a vast grassy field where terraces and barbecue areas alternate with facilities for games and outdoor activities, such as paintball or zip-lining, so guests will not feel bored in no time, given the large number of adventures to carry out.

The location of the house is unbeatable: is located practically in the center of Cantabria, which brings it closer to all its points of interest, as well as putting it in a good situation for to visit the attractions of other adjacent communities, such as Asturias (Covadonga) and Burgos (Ojo Guareña).

The hostel is located just north of the Saja-Besaya Natural Park, marked by the two rivers that bear those names, where animal lovers can enjoy native species, peace and incredible landscapes.

Among the nearby parks, we also count the National Park of the Picos de Europa, which occupies three communities, and in which its fauna (bear, wolf, golden eagle, otter...) and virgin areas, such as the valleys of Angón or Casañu.

You should not miss the opportunity to visit cities and towns in the area, with their many attractions. The fishing village of San Vicente de la Barquera is very close, as is Comillas. To the east is Torrelavega, barely half an hour away, and Santillana del Mar, considered the most beautiful town in Spain, with impressive beaches. If you prefer to go to the capital, Santander is about 45 minutes away, and guests will be able to enjoy this welcoming city, a cultural and beach tourist enclave like few.
