Cal Torrentí

This traditional house in the Catalan town of Casserres is located at the foot of the road that connects with Gironella. It is a typical farm of the area converted into a charming and modern housing with different rooms on 2 floors equipped for 12 guests.

The ground floor accommodates a maximum of 8 people and has:

• A kitchen dining room fully furnished and with fireplace to create a warm atmosphere.
• A room of bathroom completo.
• 3 double rooms.
• Easy access for people with reduced mobility.

On the other hand, the first floor can accommodate a maximum of 9 people and consists of:

• 2 bathrooms complete.
• A kitchen dining room Spacious and fully equipped, also with fireplace.
• 2 double bedrooms and one triple.

Both have heating y washing machine. There is also a game room with foosball.

The interior is well cared for and consists of an original decoration, creating a rustic environment nice, reminiscent of the cozy and traditional farmhouse.

Outside we discover a very large garden surrounded only by nature, endowed with a great pool.

It is a house overlooking the pre-Pyrenean mountain ranges, ideal to enjoy together with family or friends in total privacy, since no neighbor lives in the vicinity. In addition, its proximity to the road makes the displacement and access easier.

The house is located at the foot of the road Casserres - Gironella, 2 kilometers from the urban center of this Catalan town. It is characterized by its streets, stone houses and its Romanesque church of the XII th Sant Pau de Casserres.

This situation allows the easy displacement to regions as the one of Berguedà, Bages, Alt Urgell and Cerdanya through the tunnel of Cadí.

The house is surrounded by nature, without any house around and with a background drawn by the landscape of the Pre-Pyrenees. We observe forests of pines, oaks and oaks, as well as numerous fields of cultivation.

The lovers of ski have a unique opportunity to practice alpine and cross-country skiing at the Rasos de Peguera ski resort. Also in the Snow Park Pedraforca, where we find ideal areas for snowshoeing and mountain skiing in the Sierra del Verd and the Cadí.

The trekking, the climbing, the canyoning and parapente are also usually practiced in the area of Berguedà.

Other possible activities are the hunting, fishing and mushroom collection, since the Mushroom Festival takes place in the area, with a gastronomic and collection contest.
