Calamora

In the heart of the Alicante Orba, surrounded by all kinds of restoration services, we find this cozy house, X without losing a bit of rural charm and furnished without denying contemporary amenities.

Up to 4 people can stay here and enjoy their home-like atmosphere, divided between the 2 rooms that offers us; both bedrooms are exterior, each with a discrete balcony with double-leaf wooden doors, from which you can see the outdoor gardens, and through which a clear light that covers the entire stay. In one and another room we find spacious and quality fitted wardrobes.

At the foot of the stairs, near the entrance of the house, the dining room, with a round table and 4 chairs, all in front of a fireplace crowned by a frameless mirror in which to reflect every meal enjoyed in the room .

Annex to the dining room, and accessible through two arches without door, a modest room offers recollection to enjoy reading or the television, accompanied by a DVD and CD player, o table games if preferred, well occupying the wooden frame sofa or armchair of the same invoice; the blue of the upholstery gives an almost maritime note to this house, not very far from the coast. The wooden beams break with the white paint of the walls, without clashing with the rest of the furniture and the rustic flavor of the home.

In the mezzanine of the house we have a small room with a bright balcony, where one can relax in the company of distant mountains that are observed from him, sitting in one of the wrought iron chairs, alone or accompanied by another person or a good book.

The kitchen surrounds the visitor once he enters it, so that the dark countertop offers all its surface around the cook to make better use of it. Fully equipped, does not skimp on equipment and does not lack a microwave, oven, gas stove, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, toaster, sink with ceramic filter tap to drink water directly from it, and a wide variety of storage spaces between drawers, shelves and sideboards.

As in this house could not miss anything, also the bathroom is fully equipped, and does not lack shower or bidet, as well as several shelves to hang towels. A light focuses from above the sink mirror, and most of it comes from a wide window, covered with a white curtain.

In the house, the light of white and the warmth of brown are the dominant colors. All the rooms enjoy natural light that is reflected in the walls and the tile floor, and that is filtered through the leaves of the trees and the flowerbeds of the gardens.

Orba welcomes visitors from various nations and shares with them their Valencian tradition. Around the house that appears to us, we find a wide repertoire of bars, restaurants and coffee shops in which to stop, either for breakfast or a meal.

The village church can be seen from the front windows of Casa Calamora. The local pool is not far away, but you can also choose for the sea, just 20 minutes of the area; there are not a few activities aquatic offers: fishing, boat trip, sailing, surfing and windsurfing, diving, canyoning and jet skis, all available to the host.

The landscapes and their activities s are not far behind, being so close to the mountains and surrounded the whole village of orchard. Paintball activities are organized and multi-adventure, as well as routes of trekking-trekking, mountain biking and quad biking. For something quieter, there are also golf courses and areas to practice other sports activities.

There is no shortage of the scheduled accompaniment services, in groups or individuals, as well as manual "Painting of Sucarrats" workshops and activities of health and mental balance. The guest can also sign up for a collection of wild herbs, olives, cherries or oranges according to the season.

Outside the city, but also of interest, the City of Arts and Sciences and the Bioparc are only 60 minutes away, as is Alicante; the Aquópolis de Cullera, just 40 minutes away, in case the water sports activities are not enough; the Ark of Noah animals sanctuary.
