Can Bastons II

This rural accommodation, with capacity for 7 people belongs to the complex Can Bastons, in which there is another farmhouse and an apartment.

For all of them there is a common area: the pool, which is in the center of the 3 homes and is outdoors, although if the weather is not good, it can always be covered.

In addition, inside it there is a small zone of shallow in case the little ones of the house want to bathe also and without danger. Next to the pool there is an area with several hammocks so that you can lie in the sun, rest a little while and enjoy your vacations.

On the way to the masia, in which there is 3 bedrooms, and that you can rent either by rooms or in full, you will see a garden full of trees as well as aromatic and medicinal plants. When you get to it, you will run into the "private" garden part for that farmhouse where there is a barbecue with a large worktop so you can cook at ease.

In this garden there is also a outdoor dining table with several chairs so that you all get together to enjoy the dishes that come out of the grill.

Inside there is a large lounge with several sofas surrounding the brick fireplace next to which there is a large TV. Sit-or lie down-to rest while enjoying a movie or your favorite series, and if you're lucky, at the same time there will be someone setting the table in the dining room in another of the areas of the room and, in the background, the kitchen. This is open, American type separated by a bar and, like the rest of the house, comes with dark wood furniture and is equipped with appliances, as well as with a complete household items.

All this room has large windows through which enters a beautiful light from the Pyrenees and for which in the mornings comes a very nice breeze that will clean the environment.

Look no further, because this farmhouse is perfect as much as if you come as a couple or in a small group of friends or family. Also, at the exterior entrance there is a parking for cars.

If you come to Can Bastons you will be staying in the village of Vilanova De La Muga, which has an exceptional environment and is very close to the medieval village of Pals. Here you can walk through its streets full of history and its old town that was formerly formed by a castle y some walls that protected it.

In the town there is also an area of ​​ beach, formerly known as El Grau (which means port) and along whose coasts there are pines and rice plantations, although before there were vines.

Another option is to go to Figueres where you can see the castle of San Fernando, the church of San Pedro -Gothic style- or the Dalí Museum, which is actually a museum-theater. Here the artist lived for many years and he was in charge of adding the dome of the building as well as all the decoration.

If you come in May, you may coincide with the parties of Santa Cruz, and in June they are those of San Pedro, when the whole town is full of life and with a lot of activity.
