Can Garganta

Can Garganta is a Catalan farmhouse located in the Girona municipality of Centenys. This accommodation was built in the seventeenth century.

The house respects its traditional stone walls material that is also used for the walls that delimit the rural complex.

Outside there is a XOCWLRRRRRRRRRRRQDDWLRQ & WXWLRQ around 1400m² surrounding the farmhouse where the pool is located and a large interior porch where the barbecue and a wooden table for your enjoyment.
Can Garganta distributed in 2 floors capable of accommodating a total of 6 people distributed in 3 double rooms with the possibility of adding baby cots. The whole house is characteristic of the area with the walls seen in stone.

The lower floor consists of a spacious hall with a cobblestone arch and room for 2 people with separate bathroom. It also has a living room with careful decoration and annex to the outdoor patio.

On the second floor we find a dining room for 8 people and a fully equipped kitchen. On the other hand, it has two double rooms with a full bathroom.

On the outdoor porch there is a small collection of farm implements and tools for raising livestock that turn this space into a small museum worthy of admiration.

In the municipality of Esponella stands out among other things its pumpkin festival, where every year the largest calabza is awarded.

Close to the rural house we can find Lago de Bañolas considered the largest lake in Catalonia and has its own legend about a monster in the style of Loch Ness.

Regarding the culture of the area, there are various historical sites such as the Parish Church of Sant Feliu de Fontcoberta, the Bell Tower of Fontcobertao, and the Parish Church of Vilavenut.
