Catalonia is one of the autonomous communities with the most striking, beautiful rural houses and with something special. This rural house is located at Tavérnoles, in the province of Barcelona. The house is equipped for up to 8 people.

This house has 3 rooms, two with double bed and one with 2 single beds. One of the double bed is called suite, since it has a X For 8 people to enter, 2 of them must sleep in 2 supetorias. You will feel totally rural due to the stone walls and the wooden floor and ceiling. In addition there is a shared bathroom and a toilet. The owners have at their disposal a cot in case they come with babies.

In the same room with the shape of 'L' there is the kitchen, the dining room and the living room:

• The kitchen, designed rustically, has a refrigerator, a washing machine, some stoves and all the necessary utensils. The food you cook here can be enjoyed in the dining room located on the corner of the 'L'
• And on the other side of the 'L' you will find the living room consisting of several sofas and armchairs, a fireplace and a television. If you do not feel like cooking, you have a public restaurant a few meters.

On the outside of the house, you can make a barbecue. In the garden there is also some furniture and a terrace where to enjoy the good weather. We recommend that you ask the owners for the organic garden.

The house has bicycles that are available to users so they can explore the area. They will give you any information about the tourist possibilities that you can do in the surroundings.

There is also a parking area and ... There is free WIFI !

This house is located at Tavérnoles, a small town of only 317 inhabitants, located in the province of Barcelona. There are several places to visit in this area. In just 20 minutes, you can get to the Embalse de Sau, a beautiful place to see.

It is also mandatory to visit the monastery Sant Pere de Caserres, which is only 25 minutes from the rural house. This monastery was built in the year 1006. Much has rained since then. It is obligatory to visit it because the River Ter surrounds it except for one part and it is on top, so you have fantastic views.

We also recommend visiting the volcanic zone of La Garrotxa, which, although it is about 40 minutes away, is worth the effort. It is one of the most visited places in the area and, above all, one of the places that most tourist interest awakens in Gerona.
