Can Janot-Batet de la Serra

Our house is located at Batet de la Serra, a locality dependent on Olot, at Garrotxa.

It is a very cute cabin, with a stone facade and wooden ceilings on the upper floor. It has 2 floors and its large windows stand out. It has a capacity for a maximum of 5 people, divided into 2 rooms, each with a full bathroom.

Inside, the house has everything you need for a family or a group of friends.

On the ground floor has a kitchen, in ocher tones and with restored dark wood furniture. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. dining table, with chairs and fireplace. On this same floor, at the level of the era, there is also a double room with bathroom On the top floor there is the living room, with magnificent views over the Croscat volcano, TV and another triple room with bathroom. They are very functional spaces, but also cozy, thanks to the decoration and equipment.
On the ground floor is the first bedroom, where there is double bed with a beautiful wrought iron headboard. There is also a bathroom in perfect condition.
Up the stairs, we have the another living room. Just as the ground floor is characterized by its warmth, this area stands out for its luminosity, thanks to the large windows. From the sofas you will be able to contemplate the impressive views.

Upstairs is the remaining bedroom, where can accommodate 3 people, since there is a double bed and a single.

The outdoor is charming, as it consists of a large plot covered by grass. There are also many trees, with various plants and flowers.

In the front patio there is a sunny area, where the picnic table is. There is also a large porch with more outdoor furniture, with a barbecue , as a summer dining room. In addition, our guests can also play pingpong.

The most characteristic of our environment are the volcanoes, since we are in the Natural Park of the Garrotxa. In fact, from the house, you can see the Croscat volcano, one of the most beautiful thanks to the surrounding forest. This grove is the Hayedo de la Jordá, which was born after the last eruption of the volcano, on the scattered ashes.
You can also visit Olot, which is becoming better known thanks to the typical cuisine of the area, called " volcanic cuisine ". Their "Olot potatoes" are already famous. In addition, this municipality has the oldest bullring in the Catalan community, and the second oldest in the whole country.
In terms of proximity, you can visit the large cities of Catalonia, since we are less than an hour from Girona and Barcelona at twenty minutes

We are also very close to the Costa Brava, if you want to see its beaches. Just 1 hour away you can be at the top of the Pyrenees.
