The natural park of the volcanic areas of La Garrotxa is the place where our house is located, in the town of Sant Joan Les Fonts.

We have a rural complex in which we offer several houses, distributed between the large farmhouse and a cabin. Guests can rent them one by one or several, in case of larger groups. Despite this, each accommodation has its own access, so that, in case there are different guests, each one has their privacy and their entrance.
The volcanic stones on the façade are our sign of identity. From it, all the decoration is structured, in a rustic style but with new and restored furniture. Wooden ceilings and cute little windows add a special touch.
This house has a capacity for 6 people, plus 1 extra bed. We have 3 bedrooms and all are double: in 2 of them there are double bed, while in the other there are 2 single beds. They are simple rooms, with few decorations. In this way, you can breathe the traditional atmosphere of the accommodation and its charm.
We also have a bathroom, in which there is a bathtub, and, in addition, another toilet for greater comfort.
The kitchen has dishwasher, to facilitate your stay, as well as other equipment and kitchenware.
The living room is spacious and very cozy, as it has a large wood-burning fireplace. It is the original, restored to maintain the character of the room. There is also a dining area, with a nice wooden table and chairs with wicker seats. In addition to the sofas, there are several vintage remodeled ornaments, such as an old threshing floor or a beautiful hand-painted chest of drawers.
From here, you go to the porch techado, with garden furniture. Ideal as a summer dining room

The exterior won't let you down. It is specially designed for family vacations, so that the children have fun. That is why we have installed some swings next to the wooden cabin that we have, which works like a life-size toy house, so the little ones will be entertained. In addition, there is a small pool, located in a fenced enclosure within the garden, to ensure safety.
But not everything is childish, adults can also play soccer or volleyball on the fields of the farm. If you prefer, there is target to play a game of darts, and even a pool table. If you want to prepare something, there are several barbecues in the garden.
We add that we let you come with your pet, paying a small supplement.

The most representative of our environment is the volcanic area in which we find ourselves, the Garrotxa, declared Natural Park for its unique terrain and geological wealth. It has a multitude of volcanoes, but the last one to erupt was the Croscat. Because of this, a strip of lava was formed. After staying cold, what is now Hayedo de Jordá grew up in that land. The famous Catalan writer Joan Maragall dedicated a poem to these forests, entitled "La fageda d'en Jordà".

A monument in the municipality where we are located, Sant Joan Les Fonts, is considered National Monument. It is the monastery of Sant Joan Les Fonts, a beautiful construction made with volcanic stone. Also the Estada Juvinyà castle and the beautiful Romanesque bridge

Besalú is one of the towns near our house. Together with Sant Pau, another municipality, they constitute a perfect picture to transport you to the Middle Ages, thanks to its monuments. Besalú is considered as National Historic-Artistic Complex since 1996. The capital of the region, with a good modernist and artistic offer. It has all the services of a capital. Great gastronomic offer in the area and many hiking and mountain biking routes (Vía Verde de Olot, Girona).
