Description of Casa de Aldea El Piñuelu

Beautiful rural house with capacity for 9 people visitors, located in the small village of Piñeres, between Villanueva and Nueva, in the council of Llanes, in the Principality of Asturias.

This accommodation constitutes a wonderful option for the resting place of those guests who want to enjoy a few days of vacation in the north of Spain and who are offered the power to enjoy the following facilities:

  • 4 double bedrooms both in size and capacity, of which 3 are equipped with a pair of twin single beds each, while the remaining one only has a large double bed. All these rooms have large built-in wardrobes with a large storage volume. The rooms enjoy abundant natural lighting thanks to their exterior projection and the width of their windows, which in some cases would be doors that open onto balconies with pleasant views of a most relaxing vegetal environment.
  • On the first floor there is a large gazebo that has a long dining table that offers along with up to 3 long benches, which could seat even 15 diners around it. Also in this same room there is a small section of the living room with several sofas, both individual and a three-piece, where we can enjoy a comfortable after-dinner.
  • The kitchen, which has several blocks of furniture among which are distributed both the storage spaces where the elements belonging to the large selection of household items are arranged, as well as a complete equipment at the level with the appliance.
  • The room is a cozy room that is flooded with natural light since two of its facades face the outside with large windows and an exit to the pleasant exterior corridor. In this space there would be a set of dining rooms with seats for 6 people and a group of sofas, with several seats, each one located around a coffee table and all arranged in front of the wall that has the largest extension of windows.
  • The 3 bathrooms that the house has would be complete with a set of toilets, in addition to bathtub in 2 of its cases and in the remaining one shower cabin.
  • Going out to the exterior and before even stepping on the overwhelming garden that surrounds the house on this farm we would find, on the main floor, a couple of covered porches equipped with separate sets of outdoor furniture from which to comfortably enjoy the views from the surroundings. In addition, on the first floor we find when leaving one of its rooms or the living room what is called an Asturian corridor , a kind of medium-sized terrace that also has furniture.
In the driveway, once inside the gates of the property, several large vehicles can be parked with relief.

Sourroundings of Casa de Aldea El Piñuelu

Belonging to the nearby Council of Ribadesella we find on the edge of the land with the Cantabrian Sea the wonderfully spectacular Cliffs of Hell, a magnificent collapse with stone walls that the waves have known how to carve in a whim to give rise to a place fruit of the erosion that the native birds of the area take advantage of in a curious breeding area that imposes the human visitor, but that both for seagulls and cormorants is most advantageous when spreading their wings to start their fishing sessions.

It is noteworthy that special care must be taken if we visit them with children, since the terrain is deceptive and where there is vegetation, sometimes there may be no soil. In case of having little or no confidence in these conditions, what we can do is appreciate them from a a safe distance from the Playa del Tomasón at its feet, always depending on the high tide, or if we move further east from a viewpoint that includes most of them in its panoramic view.

Not far from there, although it already belongs to the Council of Llanes from which we originally started, in the surroundings of the Guadamía river we could find, on the limits of its left bank, facing the mouth, the fabulous collapse from the Pozu de Tuerba, while on the right bank, a little beyond the mouth of we would find the famous Bufones de Pría, wonderful cavities that have been formed by differential erosion in the rock of the cliff through from which the sea water filters violently at each wave blow to give rise to some curious projections of water that reach several tens of meters into the air.
