Casa de Aldea Matela

This small Asturian rural house is located in a village away from the urban area and surrounded by lush natural landscapes characteristic of the northern area. Its location, its stone structure and its cozy interior give this accommodation a very rural character . It has capacity for 4 people.

The house has a large room in which harmoniously merge the living room, dining room and kitchen. It is a diaphanous room that has undergone renovations and that currently has a rest area, in which the sofa, the armchair and the television set are located next to a window with splendid views of the environment.

continues is located the dining room and kitchen. It has a sturdy wooden table with stools for 4 people a series of rustic wooden kitchen furniture and a fireplace where the oven was formerly located to offer warmth to the room. It consists of all electrical appliances necessary for the comfort of the guest.

The accommodation has 2 double rooms, one of them with a bed of double and the other with 2 single beds. Both bedrooms have their own bedding, dark wood furniture, which gives a rural and comfortable touch to the rooms, radiators and windows with views.

There is also available a full bathroom with rustic sink, mirror and shower with bath curtain.

Outside, next to the front door, the house has a small cobbled patio with wooden tables and stools, ideal to enjoy sunny days in a wonderful environment.

This small Asturian council is very close to the border with Galicia, so guests can access some areas of that community that are located a few kilometers away, such as Playa as Catedrais.

Some other coastal areas that are located around the house are Castropol or Tapias de Casariego. Taramundi o Vegadeo are other councils that border the town where our rural house is located.

Through San Tirso de Abres flows the Río Eo, a fantastic place for excursions, such as the forests of Oscos de Eo or the historic Railroad Route.
