Casa de la Cigüeña

This rural accommodation located in the municipality of Écija, province of Sevilla, belongs to the complex Hacienda La Palma and is called Casa de la Cigüeña.

It receives this name because it was common to find these nice birds living on the roof. Built on a top floor which can be accessed through a small staircase.
Today, it has been renovated and works as a rural house, welcoming inside a total of 4 guests who will be able to enjoy all their stays:

• A living room in tan and brown colors in which two sofas are distributed preceded by a low robust wooden table and oriented to the television in the room. This rest area is very cozy due to its decoration that perfectly combines the ceilings with dark wood beams and the furniture, as well as a wood-burning fireplace that will provide you with the necessary heat in cold seasons. Here you can also find satellite TV.

• Next is the dining room and the kitchen, with a solid dark wood table around which we have arranged modern wicker-covered chairs with capacity for 6 people. As for the kitchen, its countertop surrounds a corner in which the washing machine, microwave, hob and other appliances for common and necessary use are distributed).

• A complete bathroom with shower, sink and mirror in which to find the sets of towels that each visitor to the house needs. In addition, through a window that preserves the initial hole of the house's construction, the light that will illuminate this space will pass through.

• 2 double bedrooms with single beds decorated with wrought iron headboards and rustic ceilings that adorn the space, they will facilitate the rest of the group that accompanies you. Bedding is included in the house.

The house is very well equipped (with air conditioning in the living room and heating in all interior rooms) and adapted to current needs with a wifi space to connect to the Internet.

In the outdoor there is a small terrace with n barbecue at your disposal to cook some of the typical products of the land and taste them on the tables and chairs located here.
The huge pool that is part of the complex will allow you to take a good dip and cool off when the sun sets in the hot season, and we are in one of the hottest areas of Andalusia, known as "La Sartén".

On the outskirts of Écija the Casa de la Cigüeña has been built, an area of ​​Andalusia with great possibilities in terms of cultural and natural tourism.
Just 30 minutes from the municipality we find the Natural Park of the Sierra de Hornachuelos, in Córboba (Écija is closer to Córdoba than to Seville itself), where the predominantly slate landscape houses a very varied flora and fauna with some of the best known species of our geography such as the Iberian lynx, for example.
As for the monuments in the area, one of the most visible is the Torre de San Juan, on which four floors of bells rise, dating back three centuries.
The Parish Museum of Santa María offers a quick view of the vestiges that have remained from the conflict between the Roman and Arab cultures, keeping inside prehistoric relics worth seeing.
