Casa de la Plaza

A little less than an hour from Madrid, and half an hour from Ávila, we reached the town of Cebreros. Here we find this house inside the complex Casa Abuela Benita that unites, through an interior patio from the kitchens, with the Casa del Tenao.

This apartment with capacity for 12 people, is divided into 2 floors. In the upper one we find the 4 double bedrooms with single beds, and all with bathroom included, with fitted wardrobes and the rest of the wooden furniture. The remaining 4 people will go 4 extra beds.

On the ground floor, and continuing with the same design and transmitting an ambience of light, is the kitchen. comes equipped with con:

• Ceramic hob.
• Oven.
• Microwave oven.
• Dishwasher.
• Refrigerator.
• Extractor hood.
• Washing machine.
• Domestic utensils.

We also find a living room with television -which is also in the kitchen- and DVD, board games, a library with all the necessary information to make the most of your stay and all that the town offers, as well as a living room con fireplace.

The whole house is built with stone, slate, wood or wrought iron, which also combine with the rustic environment of the town. Here we will find the perfect mix between nature and the current amenities.

To regain strength a good barbecue, and while the food is done children can be distracted with special activities for them. And if you do not want to cook, there are food and dinner services.

Oh! And the animals are welcome.

In Cebreros, a town known for being the birthplace of Adolfo Suárez, you will be able to enjoy the purest nature without the need to get away from the city very much.

If we leave the grounds of the house we can give us a good bath in the pools miunicipales. In addition, we can also do sport throwing a game of tennis on the track of the enclosure or take a walk with available bicycles.

Here you can visit the museum that has dedicated to the former president and the whole story of the transition Spanish and which was opened in 2009. You can visit it if you decide to do a bit of historical tourism, because it has also been installed in the old church that was built in the 14th century.

The church of Santiago Apóstol yes that continues being a catholic temple and it has become the parish of the town. It was declared of cultural interest in 1991.

Cebreros is well known not only for its vineyards, but for its carnivals. Up to this point, neighboring towns such as El Tiemblo or Hoyo de Pinares and even people from Ávila come to participate in its parade. In these days and in the afternoons the Baile del Rondón will dance where the Jota Cebrereña is practiced.
