Casa de la Sacristía

The Corner of San Cayetano is a nice house that is located in the Zamorano town of Villalpando.

Due to the great amplitude of the accommodation, when doing the rehabilitation we decided to create 2 houses inside. The first of them, House of the Sacristy, is located on the ground floor, and although both are accessed by the same site and share the garden, each one has its own private space so you will have your privacy assured .

The first room we see when entering the house is a kitchen perfectly integrated with the living room. All in the same space to create a greater sensation and thus better use the space. The kitchen has all the appliances that we believe that you will be very useful during the period you stay with us. The living room on the other hand is a small space ideal to relax, read, watch TV, etc. For this we have placed a nice sofa, a pair of seats and very rustic wood furniture.

There is a total of 3 bedrooms with their respective bathrooms which are distributed as follows:

• The first bedroom has double bed, las walls are white and highlights the beautiful traditional blanket that we have placed on the bed. In addition, the sheets are included. There are windows through which a multitude of light enters. All the furniture is very classic and elegant at the same time. The bathroom inside the bedroom has a shower, in addition to the toilet and sink.

• The other 2 bedrooms have 2 single beds each. They are much wider, one stands out for its doors in the form of arches and the other for the beautiful decorative wall that has that is lined with a special paper. The sheets and blankets are once again present in each of the beds. Also each of these bedrooms has its own bathroom.

As we mentioned before, the house has a garden in which there are tables and chairs and you can enjoy outdoor evenings and a delicious barbecue. Although it is a common space, we have it enabled in such a way that you will always have your own corner. Accounts also with parking area to be able to come in your own vehicle.

In Villalpando we can enjoy a very rich and characteristic heritage of this area. There are many walls and fortifications that surround the entire town. The Door of San Andrés es of the few that remain standing today. We also have the Castillo de los Velasco. Also note the church of Santa María la Antigua.

The good location we have will allow you to get closer to cities such as Salamanca, Zamora or Valladolid, as well as other municipalities such as Toro. Precisely in the latter again we have remnants of a wall in addition to other buildings such as the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria la Mayor, which was inspired by the cathedral of Zamora, or the Alcázar de Toro that was the residence of the Reyes Católicos.

As we have already mentioned, Salamanca is a city that is located a few kilometers away so we recommend a visit to Cathedral and contemplate the beauty that is. Also plaza mayor large and full of terraces where you can regain strength after a day of walking through all the streets of the city.
