Casa de mi Abuela María

The rural house is located on the island of Hierro specifically in the area of ​​Los Llanillos, in the Gulf Valley.
It is a house from the beginning of the century that keeps the aesthetics of the time, to transfer the guest to the typical island environment with wooden beams (Tea) and stone walls. The ceiling, lintels and windows are made of juniper wood.
Our accommodation is built on two floors and has an access ramp to the main floor. The floor of the house is made of pine wood flooring.
Part of the attractiveness of this house is provided by:

- One Jacuzzi and one sauna (only available in stays without children)
- A garden with swings
- Un orchard
- Private area to park

Regarding the facilities, the house has 2 rooms (one double and one with 2 beds), 2 bathrooms (both with bathtubs), a living room (with TV) and the kitchen is fully equipped. All the decoration is dark wood and white walls.
The ground floor is dedicated to the house's cellar.
The house has a wi-fi connection that reaches all the facilities. In addition, if you wish, we have an extra bed and / or cot available.
Due to the proportions of this island, our house has the privilege of being in a valley and at the same time being a few kilometers from the sea. We are a unique opportunity to enjoy the 2 environments.

In the Border, the town where we are, is the Pozo de la Salud, very popular on the island since during the nineteenth century it was thought that the water from said well cured diseases to its inhabitants and by mid-century they calmed mineral-medicinal waters. Nowadays, it is a spa where, in addition to taking baths, you can enjoy beauty treatments or massages.
If you prefer the beach, you can take a dip in the beaches of Charco Azul and visit the natural waterfalls in the area.
In the cultural sphere, we recommend a visit to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Kings (Patron Saint of Iron).
