Casa Del Portalón

The rural house is in Ituero and Lama, a town characterized by oaks and chaparros. Although it belongs to Segovia, it is at the same distance from Ávila.

The rural accommodation has 2 floors of 110 m2 each, it is full rent and can accommodate up to 10 people, in 5 rooms.

On the lower floor we find: a living-dining room, kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom, and outside a patio and the entrance.
The kitchen and the living-dining room are distributed in the same area that is separated only by the stairs that go up to the upper floor.
The living-dining room has an area of ​​ 45 m2, with a wood-burning fireplace surrounded by armchairs and sofas, a dining table for 8 people. It is very bright , since it has large windows. Also includes television, DVD, stereo and various games of table for all ages.
The kitchen is furnished and equipped. It has a free top to work on it, and appliances such as: hob, fridge and freezer, oven, washing machine, dishwasher. Also included are a microwave, coffee maker, juicer, blender, toaster, 2 paella pans, and kitchenware and crockery.
The room on this floor is double, with two 0.90 m single beds, although it has space to accommodate an extra bed. It is decorated in orange tones.
The bathroom is adapted for the disabled or people with reduced mobility. It has a walk-in shower with a glass window as a screen on one side.
On the upper floor we have 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a small gazebo.
3 of the rooms are doubles with 0.90 m single beds together. One is decorated in pink, one in yellow, and one in blue. They all have wooden floors and are very bright.
The fourth room is a double room with a double bed, it is decorated in blue, and like the rest it has a wooden floor.
The bathrooms on this floor have two sinks each, and one of them has a shower tray with a screen and the other a bathtub.
At the rear outside of the house there is a 150 m2 garden . Here we have a barbecue and firewood to be used and a table with chairs. In the area of ​​ porch you can park your car. There are numerous trees, flowers and plants planted.

Ituero y Lama is a very landscape town , with cereals on one horizon, and oaks at the other end.
Ancient monuments have been preserved dedicated to trades of the time such as: a lime kiln, a corral and pylons.

It also conserves squares, hermitages e churches, but if you want to enjoy two cities World Heritage Sites, you can go to Segovia or XX1 Ávila that are both located at 37 km from the town, since both are located at 37 km from the town.
The typical gastronomy of the area are the lamb or roast suckling pig or the beans, dishes that you can taste in Ituero and Lama or in the surrounding towns such as: Villacastín, San Rafael, El Escorial, etc.
