Casa El Gallo

Our accommodation is located in the municipality of Teguise specifically in Muñique, one of the most important places in both Lanzarote and Canarias since has a very important historical content. It is also known for its proximity to the famous coast of Famara.

The house is terrera perfectly accessible and offers free private parking within the accommodation itself. Its maximum capacity is 6 guests. The entrance is made up of a stone wall that attracts attention. Once it dares, we find an immense patio and a dry garden, perfectly integrated with the environment of the eastern islands. This is configured with land of volcanic origin and with few plants also typical of those drier climates.
In the garden itself we can enjoy a terrace or covered outdoor dining area and perfectly connected to the interior of the house through a glass door. But if what we want to enjoy the outdoor environment of the area we have at our disposal a barbecue area with stools to be able to savor our favorite skewers outdoors. Not only this will be what we can enjoy outside the house, it also has solarium area equipped with sunbeds for sunbathing, having at the disposal of guests a shower to refresh ourselves from time to time.
Regarding the interior, the residence is made up of 3 bedrooms made up of single beds that act as double beds, 2 bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen with dining area.

The living room is characterized by a rustic and homemade decoration that will make you feel at home. It consists of a sofa bed very comfortable to rest while watching the television. The different lamps that decorate the room will give the possibility of enjoying a most chill atmosphere.
From the living room you can access the dining area which stands out for its incredible spaciousness decorated with plants which gives us that feeling of closeness to nature. In this room of the house, the small corner dedicated to the plants stands out, in which even the smallest detail is taken care of.
The 3 rooms are configured in the same way. They have 2 single beds, each one that together become double beds. This distribution is designed for several couples since each room is separated from the other enough to maintain privacy and at the same time be connected. The luminosity is the singularity that distinguishes them since, due to their light colors, only by receiving a small ray of light it is already multiplied.
The 2 bathrooms are conditioned and decorated according to the very warm area in which the accommodation is located. The bathroom inspires tranquility decorated with starfish. It has a small bathtub for the complete relaxation of our guests with the possibility of whirlpool. Along with this, comfort in this house is one of the fundamental premises, therefore it offers us 2 sinks. In the same bathroom we find a shower in case what we need is a faster toilet. All this is perfectly connected with the rest of the rooms of the house as well as with the outside.
The kitchen is one of the most modern parts of the house decorated with darker colors and more oriented towards a minimalist style. Simplicity is what predominates. It is completely prepared with microwave, refrigerator, stove, oven, toaster and all the utensils necessary for the preparation of any dish that we want.

In the surroundings of Teguise it is an idyllic place for our guests to rest. The house is on the outskirts of the center of the municipality completely away from the most annoying noises. However, it is a place full of history. The historical case is impregnated with buildings of cultural interest such as the Castillo de Santa Bárbara which currently houses the Museo de la Piratería de Canarias. Also along with history we find the Canarian musical culture. The Palacio Spínola also located in the historic center contains the Museo del Timple, the best-known Canarian instrument.
Just by touring Teguise we will get to know a large part of the culture of Lanzarote with this we will not be able to go shopping every Sunday at Mercadillo de Teguise, there we will find the most typical artisan and traditional products of the Canarian culture.
Lanzarote for being one of the driest and flattest islands offers us a large number of the most paradisiacal beaches. Among them, just 9 km away is the Playa de Famara. There we have the possibility to enjoy beautiful sunsets and if our guests are passionate about surfing , this is the ideal beach to practice it.
Getting closer to the nature of the arid climate of Lanzarote we find the endless Campos de Tuneras in Guatiza about 26 km from our house.
However, the essential place that is 13 km away is the Parque Natural de Timanfaya, since it is about knowing the origin of the creation of the island. The origin is based on volcanic stone.
