Casa El Pontón

This traditional Asturian Casa, located in the small municipality of cué, does the function of rural housing. The wooden windows are characteristic, that decorate the exterior facade covered with stone the ground floor and of a tile color the upper floor.

The spaces are distributed in 2 plants. These are broad stays that allow a total of 8 people to house, because it is possible to incorporate 2 supplementary beds.

The kitchen combines the traditional furniture with the modernity of the appliances, incorporating a table with chairs for a greater comfort of visitors. The space is not a problem, because the dining room has another larger table. In the long countertop that composes the kitchen you can work comfortably. 

Communicates with the living room, a space overflowing thanks to the windows that extend along the wall. A corner sofa and a comfortable armchair make it, next to the chimney, a corner of the most cozy. From the sofas you can see the environment thanks to the huge windows located behind it.

The house has 3 double bedrooms, of which 2 have a marriage bed and the third two independent beds. 2 of them are abuhardilladas, when they are on the last floor of the house, but very bright, and have television and large cabinets.

Each room has its own bathroom. One of them is equipped with shower dish, and the other 2, with bathtub. All have a wooden closet, which holds the sink.

As soon as you enter the house there is a small receive from which the stairs leave to the upper floor.

Coming to Cue is the perfect option for those who seek to enjoy both interior and coast tourism. It is a few kilometers from the Sierra del Cuera and the extensive Asturian beaches of ribadesella or llanes. Nice views from the Paseo Marítimo, a unique place turned into a museum by Ibarrola that decided to convert concrete blocks into an original work of art. They are known as the cubes of memory.

Access to the Picos de Europa, where monuments of great beauty are found such as the sanctuary of covadonga or the lakes that carry the same name. Nice stamp to enjoy as a family both in summer and winter, time in which it is possible to see the ice that is formed on the surface.
