Casa El Pontón

This traditional Asturian house, located in the small municipality of Cué, makes the rural housing function. Its wooden windows, that decorate the exterior facade covered with stone on the ground floor and a tile color on the upper floor are characteristic.

The spaces are distributed in 2 floors. These are spacious rooms that can accommodate a total of 8 people, because it is possible to incorporate 2 extra beds.

The kitchen combines the traditional furniture with the modernity of the appliances, incorporating a table with chairs for greater comfort of visitors. The space is not a problem, because the dining room has another larger table. In the long countertop that makes up the kitchen you can work comfortably.

It communicates with the living room, a space brimming with light thanks to the windows that extend along the wall. A corner sofa and a comfortable armchair make it, next to the fireplace , in a cozy corner. From the sofas you can see the surroundings thanks to the huge windows located at his back.

The house has 3 double rooms, of which 2 have bed of marriage y the third two independent beds. 2 of them are attic, to be located on the top floor of the house, but very bright, and have television y large wardrobes.

Each room has its own bathroom. One of them is equipped with shower dish, and the other 2, with bathtub. All have a wooden cabinet with door, which holds the sink.

As soon as you enter the house you will find a small reception from which the stairs lead to the upper floor.

Come to Cue is the perfect option for those who want to enjoy both inland tourism and the coast. It is located a few kilometers from the Sierra del Cuera and the extensive Asturian beaches of Ribadesella o Llanes. Beautiful views from the promenade, a singular place converted into a museum by Ibarrola who decided to turn some concrete blocks into an original work of art. They are known as the Memory Cubes.

Gateway to the Picos de Europa, where there are monuments of great beauty such as the Sanctuary of Covadonga o Lagos that bear the same name. Nice picture to enjoy as a family both in summer and winter, a time when it is possible to see the ice that forms on the surface.
