Casa El Volaero

The rural house is located in one of the oldest and most charming neighborhoods of Jaen: Ovens of Segura. The house has been completely restored, but retains its stone walls, which help the summers are not as hot, but also has all the amenities to make the stay comfortable.

The capacity is for 8 person s that can be distributed around 2 houses.

On the upper floor there are the bedrooms where we highlight: 2 triple bedrooms. One of them is furnished with 3 single beds, while the other one has a double bed and a single bed. The 4 single beds have measures of 0.90 m. When found on the upper floor, the 2 bedrooms are attic.

There is also a shared bathroom on this floor. It is a very special bathroom because, instead of having a shower or a bathtub, we have equipped it with a jacuzzi.

In the common areas and on the ground floor of the house include:

• The kitchen, very cozy and fully equipped, that has a corner table with a table to eat. The appliances with which we have provided are: oven, hob, hood and microwave, among others. It also has several cabinets and wooden drawers where you will find the cutlery and other kitchen utensils.

• A living room with fireplace, tables and chairs and sofas, where one of them is a sofa-bed. From both sofas you can comfortably watch the television, which is located on the wall. The table can accommodate 6 people, however it is a expandable table, so you can increase the number of people.

• A full bathroom. The one of this plant lodges a plate of shower with screen and a washing machine. So that you do not get cold after showering, we have installed a electric heater at the top of the room. You can also use it as a laundry, since in addition to the washing machine is the iron with its respective table.

The charm of this beautiful country house resides in its patio-terrace, which offers wonderful views. To spend some time taking the cool we have placed a barbecue with a small table with chairs to enjoy it or just sit and contemplate the landscape.

Safe Ovens was a municipality enclosed by some walls of which today there are still vestiges. In addition there is a castle from the XII century that from its highest tower you can see the whole town. Outstanding is also his church, of the sixteenth century, Gothic that incorporates several gargoyles on its facade.

We invite you to play the Serrano bowling, a sport characteristic of the area, as much as its main festival, in which besides heifers and a summer cinema, there are orquestas.

In less than 10 km you can go to the Natural Park of the Sierra de Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas. It is a fabulous environment to make routes, since there are from forests to hydric landscapes marked by the Guadalquivir river. If you want to take a bath, it is also the ideal place, because in it is the Tranco reservoir.
