Casa Ico I

Our house can accommodate up to 8 people, and is located at Mountain Palentina. To the side we have another house, that although they are independent of one another you can be useful if you are looking for accommodation for 14 people.

The house has 4 bedrooms:

• One of them has a large double bed.
• The other 3 are double, with single beds.
• They will share 2 full bathrooms.

The aesthetics of the house retains the charm of Palencia, with wooden beams and stone walls. It is perceived especially in the living room, where the most important thing is the fireplace. It also has television, and a lot of resting space between armchairs, chairs, benches ...

The country house has heating, which consists of floor radiant e, ideal to be comfortable at any time of the year.

For cooking, we propose 2 options:

Use the kitchen, which has glass ceramic, refrigerator, small appliances and varied kitchenware.

Use the barbecue that is in the garden.

This garden is shared with the other house, and besides being able to cook there, you also have the option of having lunch without moving too far, because we have prepared a picnic room with tables and chairs.

Pets Allowed

Very close to our house is the monastery of San Andrés de Arroyo, which has a very picturesque cloister with pointed arches. This monastery dates from the X century approximately, and it is conserved very well.

In addition, as we are in the Montaña Palentina the natural options are varied, among which we highlight:

• The cave of the French, from where you can enjoy panoramic views of the valley, and which has a high geological interest.
• La Cascada de Mazobres, great destination, since the route that leads to there is the well-known "Pantanos route", which you can follow until the end and visit the Compuerto reservoir.
• Ascent to the Natural Monument of Las Tuerces, where the stones take surprising forms.
