Casa La Nogala

Welcome to our home. We are located in El Bierzo. It is an area within the province of León.
The accommodation has that rustic air that lovers of rural tourism look for in their getaways. Decoration of wood, walls of stone and a lot of nature in the surroundings, will make you spend some great days of rest and tranquility.
You can come 4 people. This is why we think it is perfect for a family, a couples getaway, etc.
The house has the following characteristics:

• Living-dining room. It is, in turn, divided into 2 different parts. On the one hand, there is the lounge area, set up for rest and tranquility, with armchairs, side table and beautiful views from the stone-framed window. On the other hand, there is the dining area, closer to the kitchen. A wooden table with different chairs and capacity for 6 people, will allow you to sit down and eat quietly.
• Kitchen: it has a fireplace, which will make the house a very cozy place because this room is connected to the living room. Therefore, the fireplace can heat the entire home. In the kitchen, you can find different appliances such as the oven, a refrigerator or you can also cook on the ceramic hob. In addition, you have at your disposal the necessary utensils to eat and cook.
• 2 bedrooms: both are doubles and bedding (duvets, blankets and sheets) is included. One of them is equipped with a double bed. The other bedroom, with sloping ceiling and wooden decoration in dark tones, has 2 single beds, as well as a small living room with furniture, such as a stretcher table and chairs to sit and enjoy the views.

In the outside of the house we find a patio with trees and benches to sit on. We have a wooden picnic area, where you can eat outdoors what you cook in the barbecue, located in an area attached to the house.

Our home is located in the municipality of Labaniegos. It is a small town, in turn belonging to Bembibre. In the latter, you can visit the Parish Church of San Pedro Apóstol, a construction with characteristics of Romanesque art.

If you stray a bit, you will meet Ponferrada. Both Labaniegos and Ponferrada are located in the region of Bierzo. Ponferrada, for its part, is the capital of this region.
In this town, you can visit the well-known castle. It is believed to be an ancient Celtic city, later used by the Romans and Visigoths. Already in the Middle Ages, it belonged to the order of the Templars. In short, a place with a lot of history, of which we recommend seeing both its exterior and its interior.
Finally, and if you want a more rural tourism, we recommend you visit Las Médulas. Formerly, it was a gold mine but over time, it has become a landscape in reddish tones, where you can see different flora and fauna native to the area.
