Take advantage of our accommodation to design a route through the main towns of the Axarquía region. From Cómpeta, you can visit the nearby town of Frigiliana or Torrox, to be seduced by the Arab architecture of the white villages.
The Malaga mountains are home to hiking routes for the whole family. If you are a hiking lover, take advantage of your days off to start the journey from Canillas de Aceituno to Maroma. The Garganta de El Saltillo will leave you speechless, highly recommended if you are looking for canyoning activities in the area.
At lunchtime, head to Frigiliana to discover the typical gastronomy of the Axarquía. Starting from Calle Real, you can spend the afternoon getting to know the puppet theater in its main square or make a purchase at its honey factory.
If you have several days, plan an excursion in which to completely change the landscape with a visit to the Natural Reserve of the Cliffs of Maro. Very close to there, you can take advantage of the Andalusian temperatures to take a comfortable bath in Burriana Beach.
