Casa Maestroxar

Located in the old town of Ochagavía , a small town Salazar Valley, this house is built in white stone shed, wooden structure and roof rojo.

The house was opened as a house in 2012, so it is equipped with the most modern equipment, and accommodates 8 people.

For the comfort of the guests, it is divided into the following stays:

• 3 bedrooms located on the second floor, 2 of them furnished with 2 single beds and the third with a double bed. This house supports up to 2 additional beds and the possibility that one of the double rooms become bedroom matrimonio.

• 4 bathrooms o, one in each room and the rest on the ground floor.

• A modern kitchen, decorated in gray and silver, with all the necessary appliances to facilitate household chores.

• A living room furnished with a comfortable high-backed sofa located opposite un plasma TV which entertained watching a movie in the warmth of the fireplace . In addition, this room has a stereo and a collection of board games .

• A large garden con green and barbecue, which prepare delicious roasts to eat in furniture exterior.

• Parking so there is no problem leaving the car in the narrow streets of Ochagavía.

In addition, the house has the following services:

• Possibility of adding a crib for marriages traveling with babies.

• Internet connection via WiFi for those who can not live without social networks.

Ochagavía is a town of just 600 inhabitants located northeast of Navarra, in the Salazar Valley. It is a small town full of typical little houses in the north of Spain, with its walls perforated in white and the roofs on 2 or 4 waters to let the snow slip and not accumulate on the roofs. In this town there are some medieval palaces, like that of Iriarte, and houses with shield built in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.

Part of the popular folklore of this place are the dancers of Muskilda, who dance on September 8th for the village festivities. The dances take place the eve of the celebration and consist of 4 dances with sticks; Emperor, Katxutxa, Dance and Modorro; a dance with handkerchiefs; the handkerchief; and a jot. These dances have been taking place since the 17th century and are a symbol of the joy and good humor of the inhabitants of the valley.

The valley of Salazar, in which this town is located, is crowned on the north by the Sierra de Abodi, a mountain range whose highest peak is Orhi. One of the excursions that can be done through this valley is the climb to this peak, a one-hour route from the port of Larrau. From the top you can see a beautiful panoramic view of the valley.
