Casa Marian

This rural house is located at Cangas de Onís, in the Principality of Asturias, very close to the Picos de Europa Natural Park.

The house admits a maximum of 8 people and is divided into 4 double rooms, one with single beds and 3 with double bed, which are rented separately. All rooms are equipped with TV for winter or rainy afternoons, refrigerator, to keep refrigerated drinks and cheese typical of Cabrales, and bathroom, where you can relax after an excursion or a day at the beach.

In addition to the 4 rooms, the house has a dining room with chimney where breakfast and dinner are served and which has comfortable and wide sofas to spend the evenings.

Among the services offered by this house are the heating - ideal for rainy days in summer and essential in winter-, hot water - that is appreciated after an excursion or descent of Sella-, and wireless internet connection (Wi-Fi) .

The house also has a stone patio and a spacious parking where you can leave the car without having to worry about finding a place to park. Casa Marian is a traditional Asturian house of 2 floors. The second floor has a covered gallery with wooden beams and railing that gives it a rupestre look.

On the first floor there is the direct access to the farm, which measures 5,000m2 and consists of a meadow to play football, croquet or petanque, a area of ​​fruit trees, whose fruits will make the guest delights, and garden areas with a picnic area for breakfast or snack in the garden, wooden swings for the little ones and benches, to monitor the swings or to relax contemplating the beautiful views of the Picos de Europa.

Completing the garden, there is the barbecue, ideal for grilling or rice dishes and enjoy them in the picnic area of ​​the large garden areas.

Casa Marian is located at Cangas de Onís, on the banks of the river Sella and very close to the Picos de Europa Natural Park.

The Natural Park offers diverse routes of diverse difficulties, as much by the mountains as by the canyons of the rivers. One of these routes is the Cares, which follows the course of the river of the same name by the mountain range, but they are also famous, and of medium difficulty, those that start from the Lakes of Covadonga, whose sunrise is worth it.

In addition to hiking, these places can be practiced various adventure sports or the descent of Sella in canoe, departing from Arriondas and arriving to Ribadesella.

If on the other hand a quieter plan is desired, it is worth visiting the beach of Ribadesella and the caves with cave paintings of Tito Bustillo, in the same locality, not to mention the villages of Covadonga or the same Cangas de Onís, from whose Roman bridge hangs a reproduction of the Cruz de la Victoria by Don Pelayo.
