Casa Martinezker II

Our house is located at North of Navarra, specifically in the municipality of Ochagavia.

It is an accommodation in the purest traditional style of the north, with its stone façade and white color that blends perfectly into the landscape of the mountains.

The kitchen is attached to the living room. It is a diaphanous space that allows you to be able to cook while you are with your family. The furniture is completely made of wood and in it you will find appliances and kitchen sufficient that will allow you to prepare delicious dishes.

The living room is composed of 2 large plaid sofas, they are very comfortable, so you can sit or lay down to rest. Right next to a rectangular table also of large dimensions with capacity for all the inhabitants of the house.

An elongated hallway gives you access to the rooms. There are a total of 4, 3 of them have 2 single beds and the remaining bedroom is with double bed. All have a simple decor, with wooden furniture and blankets in light colors. We have added a desk under the large windows, there are built-in wardrobes to store all your belongings and as we have already mentioned, the sloping ceilings become the protagonists of these beautiful rooms.

Hay 2 bathrooms, both with bathtub with screen. In addition to a large counter with the sink and the toilet. In one of the bathrooms we have included a washing machine so you can have all your clothes ready during your stay.

We have a room called Txoco. It is a large area with kitchen and dining tables that we prepare when we visit a large group that stays in the two houses. Here you can all come together for lunch or dinner and have fun meetings.

The exterior of the house is very green and very careful. A garden with his patio of stone in which there is a table and chairs, also has a barbecue. All this is common for both houses. A very usable area in good weather seasons.

To access our rural house you can do it by car, park at the door or in a parking nearno, but always your vehicle will be careful and available when you need it.

We are in the town of Ochagavia which is surrounded by an endless number of mountains and green areas that bring a lot of beauty to the landscape. The valley Salazar with its river is the protagonist of this beautiful picture. Apart from knowing the area where you stay, visit its streets and for example the hermitage of Our Lady of Muskilda, you can move through innumerable places full of magic.

Our first will be Roncesvalles that has much of the Camino de Santiago, either in religious monuments such as the church of Santiago, as in civil monuments, is the case of the mysterious Itzandeguía pilgrims hostel.

If we follow our route we can, and continuing with the mystery, we go to Zugarramurdi. Here its famous caves take all the prominence. It is the place where witchcraft is said to have been practiced for a long time. A place that will take you to know interesting stories as well as contemplate the beauty of this underground world.

Finally, we recommend you to visit the northern desert, the Bardenas Reales. A place full of clay and sandy soils in which vegetation is not the protagonist, rather the absence of this is what makes the place one of the beauties of Navarre.
