La Puebla de Alborton is a small town of 138 inhabitants located in the province of Zaragoza, limiting with Teruel. It is part of a group of charming villages ideal to spend a few days surrounded by calm and tranquility. Very close to this area is the Pozo de los Chorros, a lagoon fed by 2 water jumps carried out by the Manuble River. It is ideal for excursions or even bathe, if time allows.
Another excursion that can be done in the area is that of the Moneva volcano, also known as La Olla Espartera. It is a mountain that has a less peculiar shape, achieved after centuries of erosion. To get to the top, you can climb a 300 -meter long path. At the top there is a viewpoint from which to contemplate wonderful views of the valley.
At the foot of this mountain and on the banks of the Moyuela River you can find numerous fossils of the Jurassic that will delight scientists and children. Among the fossils that can be found are the ammonites and the brachiopods.
