Casa Pousadoira

The accommodation is located at Miño, A Coruña, and is an old farmhouse restored for the last time in 2008. The house still maintains the characteristics and personality of the houses in the area.

We have a total of 5 rooms:

• A double room with bathroom
• 3 double rooms with bathroom and room
• A quad room available only in summer

Double rooms can have 2 single beds or a double bed. The decoration is characterized by having rural elements as wooden bedside tables, large wooden wardrobes with mirrors and armchairs. On each side of the bed are cozy night tables with lamps from another time.

The pastel color of the walls contrasts effectively with the furniture and especially with the wooden floor. Each room has a different name, which makes them more independent and with their own personality.

The building is 2 floors ; On the ground floor there is a double room with bathroom and the quad room. The latter has a double bed and 2 singles. ES ideal for families and only works in the summer months.

On the first floor is the rest of the rooms: 3 with double bed and a small room. In the living room is a large desk with its wooden chairs and armchairs, as well as a flirty table. One of these rooms also has a berth which can be rented as additional beds in case of need. Guests also have a free cot.

We have as common areas a dining room where we serve the breakfast daily, these are included in the price. We also serve dinner prior reservation. In addition there is a living room with sofa and armchairs and a wood burning fireplace. All the decoration of this space is rural and has lounge, library and television sets. The whole house has free WIFI connection.

In the outside there is a large garden of 1000 square meters with a vegetable garden and organic farming area. We use these products for the consumption of the house.

The garden is furnished and is an ideal place to sit and enjoy the wonderful views of the valley.

The house is located in a small village called Pousadoira in the valley of the Lambre River. The river is barely a kilometer from the house and the road to it is beautiful thanks to the varied vegetation that we found at our step.

Following the Lax River we find the source and chapel of Aguas Santas, and further on is the Rio do Medio. In the bed of these rivers we can find 7 mills and an old power station. It is also an area where you can make picnis or snack in the shade of the big trees.

About 8 kilometers from the house is Miño, a coastal town with a beautiful beach. For lovers of nature, just 18 kilometers away is the Natural Park As Fragas do Eume, which has a great botanical and artistic interest. You can see the castle of Andrade and several churches.
